S4 League Daily Tips

Well, ain't I'm generous. Giving off tips for 2 weapons in one day. Okay, moving on. This time it's Counter Sword or CS for short. There's a particular reason it is called that way. It is a counter for most melee weapons in the game, thus the name "Counter Sword". Of course it has some weaknesses.

Advantages:

• Counter most melee weapons
• Area attack
• Easy to obtain, easy to use
• Versatile, adaptive to every situation given

Disadvantages:

• Prone to gun shots while in revenge stance
• Long delay / long freeze frame, causing the CS easy to counter
• The revenge stance easily pierced with Breaker and Katana
• Damage comparison rather low without any stat boost

And here's some tips:

•  CS are versatile in TD, especially in Hyperium and Station (both 1 and 2). If you still have some SP left, wall jump, then jump attack to the TD spot. A score is somehow guaranteed.
• CS sometimes has frame error that causes it to hit farther than usual, although this is some kind of bug and already fixed by the corps., sometimes it still occur when lagging. Watch out for this.
• CS can be used to reach difficult places. Example is circle 2, to reach the wall, you need to wall jump, then jump attack. Other method is by using katana or dagger weak attack.
• To immediately counter, while holding the right click button, just press or hold the left click to immediately counter attack.
• Same as PS, use this to get below faster without wasting bullet. Example: Hyperium and Neden.
